After two weeks of promoting her upcoming album and new single “Come & Get it” in London, Selena Gomez was spotted trying to keep a low profile as she made her way down the “runway” on May 30. Keeping the climate difference (from a pit stop in Toronto for a Much Music TV appearance) in mind, Selena wore a silver knit, Forever 21 animal print leggings, Vince Camuto Walt stud boots, a Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily bag in Bianco, and a trusty pair of shades to keep the world from her (most likely) tired eyes. Although she must have felt the heat literally coming back to sweltering LA, her outfit looked stylish yet comfy enough for a five hour flight.
19 year old former child actress Dakota Fanning also looked effortless and photo-op ready at LAX on Friday. Her outfit screamed boho-chic, combining a daring sheer floral midi-dress, featuring a plunging neckline and cinched waist, with tinted circular sunglasses, a Proenza Schouler PS13 bag in peacock blue, and Chloe Metallic scalloped ballerina flats. The “Very Good Girls” and “Twilight” saga actress always looks impeccable and makes flattering choices for her slim figure. For most of us, this look might be too fancy for a day spent in a cramped space up in the air, but we’d have to agree that this outfit is runway ready
Another runway standout on Friday would be “Fashion Star” mentor Nicole Richie, who seemed to have her hands full with daughter Harlow and son Sparrow. Maybe she was trying to go incognito by wearing all black. Nicole paired a SIMONE BY KATIE NEHRA moto cropped leather jacket in black with a black top, pants, and shoes. A black hat and a pair of House of Harlow’s 1960 Layla round sunglasses from her own fashion line finished the un-Nicole-like look. Nicole is usually known for her chic Bohemian style, but perhaps this day was just…one of those lazy days? Well, we know you’re tired, so we give you props for trying!
It’s the season of travel now that we’re hitting summer. Although it might not be worth it (or that important) to dress up for the (airport) runway, we should take note that style and comfort can be one! Would you wear any of these outfits on your next plane trip? Let us know in the comments below!
