Rose Byrne is demure and elegant in this Emilio Pucci dress that she wore to “The Internship” premiere. The sheer long sleeved dress has just the right amount of sass with its cutout top. Her messy, loose curls give a laidback edge to this otherwise prim and proper attire. She sticks to the minimalistic theme with her nude Ferragamo shoes and natural makeup look.
I really want to like this outfit, but the proportions are off on this Balenciaga number worn by Brit Marling during “The East” movie premiere which is also starring Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgard. This outfit is not finished, almost as if it is dying to be properly tailored. It does nothing for Marling’s frame and it's too loose and too awkward. The white layer falls flat, but has potential – the idea of the layered flap is intriguing. Yet, the entire ensemble is neither androgynous nor feminine – she is saved only by her impeccable old Hollywood curls and makeup, and her peep toe shoes which are a staple in any girl’s closet. You have got to give her and Balenciaga props for trying though.
